Colouring In for Relaxation
Spending just 20 minutes colouring in has been shown to reduce stress, enhance creativity and increase mindfulness.(Source) It is a wonderfully soothing activity that is done simply for the joy of it, without expectation or demand of achieving a particular result. It brings similar benefits to meditation if done in a mindful way and, for those struggling with stress or worry, a regular colouring in session can promote calm and relaxation.
